The Tea Room
The Tea Room is a stunning venue. Every time we’re there we are astonished by the restoration of this gorgeous building. The restoration honors the original architecture and blends them seamlessly with modern enhancements. The event space is luxury upscale, but was designed with neutral tones to create a simple, elegant and minimalist look and feel – that allows you to transform the space with your own design elements. All together The Tea Room offers 5,175 square feet, 16-foot ceilings, 14 large windows that provide beautiful natural light, and is able to host weddings with anywhere from 100-425 guests, depending on reception style. And, as another special little feature, each window in the Tea and Garden Room includes a double-doorway that opens right onto a balcony that makes the perfect backdrop for your event’s photos! Truly there are too many amenities to list here, but we guarantee they’ll knock it out of the park at The Tea Room.
Decades Event Center
Open since 2016, the Decades Event Center was originally a Dahl’s grocery store! The space has long since been transformed into something truly unique. Decades is located right in the heart of West Des Moines, and the venue boasts 5,000 square feet of space, with seating for up to 250 guests in their spacious ballroom that includes a full-service, handmade bar complete with rustic touches. The ballroom also offers antique décor as well as intimate lighting that make the space look amazing and inviting! And, we’re sure your guests will appreciate the ample parking on site. Not content to just be a rental venue, Decades Event Center also offers on-site services as well as an in-house event director to help you coordinate all your details! They even have an inventory of rental items on site to add that little special something to your big day!
Des Moines Embassy Club
The Des Moines Embassy Club is like two venues in one, with two locations, one location is downtown in the Ruan Center and one located in West Des Moines.
