Where It Works Best

Recent venues and event types booking the Classic booth

The Classic booth shows up most often at events where guests want a physical keepsake, where the venue has a defined footprint, and where the host wants the booth to feel built-in instead of like a tech demo. Examples of recent booking patterns:

Hotel ballroom weddings

Wedding receptions at venues like the State Room in Boston, the Fairmont Olympic in Seattle, the Bushnell in Hartford, and the Hotel Fort Des Moines book the Classic booth as a guestbook-replacement: guests sign the back of a strip and drop it into a memory book the attendant manages on site.

Corporate holiday parties

Year-end company parties at venues like the Seattle Aquarium, the Boston Public Library, and the State Room consistently book Classic plus a branded strip template carrying the company logo, year, and event hashtag. The print becomes the takeaway the team posts on internal Slack the next morning.

Nonprofit fundraisers and galas

Annual galas and benefit dinners book the Classic booth with sponsor logos integrated into the print template — a small but visible piece of donor recognition without disrupting the program flow.

Milestone birthdays and bar / bat mitzvahs

Multi-generation events lean on the Classic booth because the interaction is familiar to grandparents and obvious to teenagers — there is no app to download or QR code to scan.

FAQ

Common booking questions

Guests step into the open-air enclosure, pose for a three-shot sequence triggered from a touchscreen, and a 2x6 inch photo strip prints to a tray on the side of the booth within roughly ten seconds. An on-site attendant manages the queue, swaps paper and ribbon when needed, and helps guests who have not used a booth before. Every photo is also saved to a digital gallery delivered to the client a few days after the event, so the printed strips guests take home are duplicated as high-resolution files for the host.

Yes. The print template — overlays, color treatment, monogram, logo lockup, hashtag, and event date — is built to match the wedding design system, sponsor brand kit, or corporate event campaign. PBPC's design team handles the template artwork ahead of the event and confirms a proof with the client before printing starts. Branded prints are the same price as the standard template; they are part of the base package.

Yes. Every Classic booking includes an on-site attendant for setup, the full event window, and tear down. The attendant arrives roughly 90 minutes before the booth opens, runs a test print, manages the prop table and guest flow during service, restocks media (paper and ink ribbons) between waves, and packs out at the end of the event. The attendant is not an optional add-on — it is part of the line item and is the reason printed booths typically run smoothly even at events with 250+ guests.

Unlimited prints during the rental window. The booth runs at roughly 90 to 120 guests per hour at a steady pace, so a 3-hour event typically produces 270 to 360 strips, and a 5-hour event lands closer to 400 to 500 strips depending on how busy the floor is. PBPC stocks paper and ribbon for at least 600 prints per booking and brings overflow stock for high-volume events. There is no per-print surcharge.

The Classic package prints 2x6 inch strips with three photos plus the custom footer. If the event wants single-image 4x6 prints (one large portrait per print instead of a three-shot strip), that is an upgrade and is more commonly bundled with the Influencer Glam package, which is the same booth hardware with a different print output and lighting treatment. Either format can be configured — most weddings book strips, most corporate events that want a takeaway card book 4x6.

A 10x10 foot floor footprint with an 8-foot ceiling clearance is the standard ask. The booth itself occupies a 6-foot frontage with a 7-foot depth including the backdrop, and the prop table plus guest queue area lives in the remaining space. The setup needs one standard 120V outlet within 25 feet of the booth and a flat, level surface. PBPC's attendant brings power cabling, gaff tape, and an extension reel as part of the rig.
