The Stateroom – Longwood Venues & Destinations

First on our list is The Stateroom, by Longwood Venues & Destinations. The Stateroom is a truly stunning and dramatic venue which offers 270 degree unmatched views of downtown Boston. The venue itself is located 33 floors up in an iconic skyscraper in the very heart of Boston! The Stateroom’s clean, contemporary aesthetics will allow for endless creative expression in setup and design. The Stateroom can host anything from corporate events, to award ceremonies, to fundraising galas to upscale wedding receptions. And, can host anywhere from 18 sit-down guests in the boardroom, to 900 guests for sit-down dinner and dancing, or 1,200+ guests for a cocktail party, making The Stateroom possibly the largest (and most versatile) luxury event space in Boston! Exceptional!

The Exchange

Next up, is The Exchange, located in the heart of the Seaport District on Boston’s historic waterfront, with a front row view of the Boston harbor! The Exchange features dramatic architecture, high ceilings, and is a multi-purpose event venue managed and exclusively catered by the highly-decorated (and extremely delicious!) East Meets West Catering Company. A perfect fit for any event, The Exchange can easily host anything from a charity gala to an impressive wedding reception!  With its location and floor to ceiling windows, it offers a four-season, panoramic view of Boston Harbor, which is sure to elevate every event! The Harbor Terrace also allows the party to move outdoors during the warmer months, expanding your event space and giving your guests a chance to enjoy the view up close and personal!

Hampshire House – On Beacon Hill

Moving on, we have the Hampshire House, which is a gorgeous turn-of-the-century mansion on historic Beacon Hill, as well as being a very special spot where generations of Bostonians and their guests have celebrated the milestones of their lives! A gorgeous spot to wine, dine and dance the night away, The Hampshire House was designed and built in 1910 by the society architect, Ogden Codman, so when you host your event at Hampshire House you are adding your story to the history of Boston Society. Now onto the details… the five story Georgian revival townhouse is lavished with Italian marble, carved oak paneling, crystal chandeliers, gorgeous fireplaces and tall Palladian windows. Extraordinary! You can relax amidst the comfortable luxury as well as, be pampered with incredibly attentive service, truly decadent cuisine and a setting that will make you feel like royalty! Whether you are dreaming of an intimate brunch/luncheon or an over-the-top reception, the Hampshire House can help you design an unforgettable experience that will feel all your own.

SoWa Power Station

Next on our list, is the impressive and iconic SoWa Power Station, which is truly a masterpiece of late-industrial glamor. Fun fact… The SoWa Power Station was built in 1891 as the world’s largest power generating plant, and in its heyday, it produced enough electricity to run the entire West End Street Railway. Neat! The century-old structural elements have since been revitalized and restored, transforming it into the perfect blank canvas for community and celebration. SoWa can accommodate everything from a small intimate reception or cocktail party in the mezzanine, to a huge gala, fundraiser or wedding in the magnificent (and enormous) main floor space. And, with a huge list of preferred vendors, caterers and planners, SoWa will take the pressure off planning your big day! Remarkable!

Warehouse XI

Finishing up our list is Warehouse XI, located in the heart of Union Square, less than 15 minutes from Boston proper. WXI has been fashioned to honor the history and beauty of the neighborhood it belongs to, while also embracing the new. WXI is a large, unique, minimalist industrial space, known for its high ceilings, oversized glass windows & unrivaled natural light, concrete floors and brick walls. In our opinion, WXI is a gorgeous blank canvas, and can truly be transformed into whatever you need it to be, and we always love to do events there! The venue offers 2000 square feet of open concept event space, plus two smaller event rooms. All told there is 3225 square feet of venue space that can host any style of event, up to 150 guests. And, one final tibdit…WXI is a small, local, woman-owned business that takes great pride in their space, and works hard to ensure that everyone who comes through the doors of WXI has a truly exceptional experience. Check WXI out today. You will not be disappointed!
